A Small Update - Yvonne Le Clerq 1905

Time has passed quickly and several months have come and gone.

I wanted to visit several times and share photo updates of some of my WIPs, but I think my blogging goals are too lofty.

With that being said,  I will share just a small update on Yvonne Le Clerq 1905. I sure love this piece! It is so colorful and full of happiness to me.

I stitch slowly and I realize I won't be done for a long while, but that is okay. I currently have just a few other WIPs, but more on my other WIPs another time.

Do you like to have lots of WIPs or just a few? Perhaps you prefer having only one WIP? It is interesting how we are all different, but that is just fine.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Christmas is Approaching

Christmas is fast approaching and we were just about ready. I say were as we 'were' almost ready until we got struck with a cold virus. At this point we have delayed our Christmas celebration and we will have it instead at a later date when we are feeling better.

I have been stitching just a tiny bit and enjoying the stitching time I find. Lately I have been working on Yvonne LeClerq 1905 from Reflets de Soie. I am using DMC threads on 32 count linen.

I so love how this piece is turning out.

Lots of WIPs!

We have had several busy months and there hasn't been much time for stitching.  It is all great though, precious time with family and friends is always the best!

I have worked a bit on The Night Before Christmas and also Yvonne Le Clerq 1905. Here are some progress pictures of those pieces:

I recently finshed 2024's Year of Stitches. It is slow going for me. I am not doing a stitch icon for each day, but rather one for every several days of each month.  This is a project I decided to do for fun, but for me it has not been much of a blast! I definitely will not do this again, but I am glad I was able to complete the year 2024.

I  have also been working on some stamped pillowcases. I find this fun to do when I do not wish to look at a chart. Here are a few views:

Finally, I have been able to work a bit on Winter Quakers by Rosewood Manor. (Karen Kluba) I love how this one is looking.

A Small Update

Times have been busy, but time for a small update.  I recently stitched a towel for a family member. I love how this turned out!

I also want to share these stitched pieces that were made by others.

These two crewel pieces were stitched by an unknown person.  I received them via a community giveaway page.  Aren't they fun and vintage?

A stitching friend of mine stitched these two Prairie Schooler designs and inserted them into some fun painted wood pieces.  I love getting them out each year for our display.

I have been busy working on my Yvonne Le Clerq Sampler, as well as Winter Quakers. Life has been full of busy activities so I don't get as much done as I would like to, but that is how it goes.
